Born as a 250 2T, which included very demanding specifications and
also new from the rims to the handlebars. The 300 produces usable power throughout the complete power curve of the engine.

|2013 Sherco 300i Racing Enduro 4 Stroke
THE PERFECT COMPROMISE
Forerunners; the Nîmes technicians were the first to develop a 300cc 4-stroke Enduro engine. A displacement that is
now recognized to be the ideal size for the practice of modern enduro racing. Other manufacturers now offer intermediate displacements,
however Sherco is one step ahead of the pack with the new 2013 “long stroke” engine which is even better for the
TOP OF THE LINE COMPONENTS
The components that the Sherco engineers have chosen to use on the
enduro models are from the most prestigious names in the industry.
The suspension units are a result of the development
work carried out as a joint venture with Sherco and WP. They are designed to comfortably absorb small shocks as well as the
extreme jolts that are often times encountered in modern enduro racing.
The forks are installed in fully machined triple
trees that are made by Neken that are adjustable to fit the ergonomics of the individual rider.
The front brake and clutch
controls are entrusted to Brembo.
The bikes are equipped with new handguards and a new non metallic skidplate.
LONG STROKE DESIGN ENGINE
Already considered by many of
the members of the motorcycle press to be the best 2012 enduro engine, the character of the Sherco 300 engine is changing
very significantly this year with the adoption of the “long stroke” design.
The “long stroke”
design is very suitable for enduro use, it is characterized by a larger reinforced crankcase. It also has a longer stroke
but is able to reach high revs.
The 300 has a completely redesigned block, a new crankshaft, new cylinder, new cylinder
head with reworked ports, new camshaft, the gearbox ratios have been optimized and the clutch has been lightened.
exhaust has also been redesigned, the injection settings have been changed to decrease the engine braking.
